Nifty may try for upper levels | Stoploss at 23600 important
Saturn and Rahu lead the day, well supported by Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury and Ketu. Indications are clear that despite the global festive mood, market may show some waves. Ketu may also show some support, whereas Rahu can give wave like indications.
Nifty may look for 23800 or so. Will also prefer to look for the base around 23875. This does not mean that stoploss at 23600 can be avoided.
Look for the opportunities stock wise. Segment wise, one can still plan for defense related segments.
I agree that impact of Christmas can be seen on FIIs, but possibility of some pressure from their selling is also possible. That means their approach for our market is not positive. They have already sold out above 25000 crores of indexes, stocks etc. So, it will be better to avail advantage in the rise.
Before 2025, nifty may try for 24000.
We are heading for 2025, next week. But the trend of the market may not be based on strong interesting economic news (neither from our market nor from global markets).
Russia had once again attacked on Ukraine on Christmas day. So, geo-political situation is again critical. Ultimately, will be affecting the market in coming time.
INR has lost its base and may start inching for 86 against USD. Crude oil may roam around 72-75 USD.
